DIY Easy Draped Chain Headpiece Tutorial from Minted Strawberry here. The only difficult thing about this tutorial is that a drill was used for the holes in the wooden stars. You could use a cluster of beads instead including the dangling one. For 4 pages of DIY headpieces go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/headpiece

This is such a cute gift. I love anything rabbit/carrot-themed, and it’s all-natural! Too bad I’m already done shopping for all the women/girls on my list (what can I say, they are way funner to shop for).
Bunnies Chasing Carrots set for 32 USD.

Do you have any idea where i can find these? or something similar i guess? i’ve tried image searching them but everything i’ve found has been posts on tumblr with no links. thanks.
You can buy them here for about 52 USD.

These headbands are actually for ball jointed dolls, and aren’t made in sizes to fit human heads. They’re made by Abenohiya on Flickr, who has an etsy shop, taobao, and Japanese blog linked in their profile. All of their items seem to be out of stock at the moment, so unfortunately we cannot give a price.
For people wanting to know where to buy dresses for Porrim’s outfit from the update, here are some links! I decided to make mine but there are a whole lot available for purchase on taobao.
Taobao.com is kind of like a Chinese ebay, except everything is at a set price (no auctions?) http://taobaofieldguide.com/ has some basic info and guides.
Here is a search for ‘black gold buckle wool’ dresses on taobao, sorted from lowest to highest price. As you can see, there are a whole lot of people selling the same dress (at a range of prices too, 150 to 400 yuan). This is because a lot of sellers source their products from the same factories. There might possibly be quality variation between sellers but for the ones I have looked at, the reviews tend to say the same things.
Chances are most of these dresses/sellers would be fine but here’s two- here and here -which are on the cheaper end and have mostly good feedback from people that have bought them already. You may find it more convenient to buy from the others if you want other items from their shops and want to combine shipping, or you might only trust a higher-rated seller, it’s up to you.
The size chart is as follows: (measurements in cm, all hips unlimited)
Size S: Length 81, Bust 88, Waist 66, Shoulder 33, Sleeve length 64, Sleeve width 29, Cuff 19
Size M: Length 82, Bust 92, Waist 70, Shoulder 34, Sleeve length 64, Sleeve width 30, Cuff 20
Size L: Length 83, Bust 96, Waist 74, Shoulder 35, Sleeve length 64, Sleeve width 32, Cuff 21
Size XL: Length 84, Bust 100, Waist 66, Shoulder 36, Sleeve length 64, Sleeve width 33, Cuff 22
Unless you live in, or have nice friends in China, chances are you’ll have to use a shopping service (or group order?). Some popular ones are yoybuy, taobaospree, taobaonow, but I suggest you google around and check reviews for whichever one you use. There are also loads of guides and shoplists for wig, costume and fabric stores floating around online if you are interested.
I hope this helps~ Happy cosplaying everyone :D!
